The scheme is valid for one year from the date of release\/retirement from the armed forces.
\nUnder this scheme, a monthly financial assistance of Rs. 3,000\/- will be given to one dependent of an ex-serviceman\/serviceman who is disabled in operation during hostilities with any recognized hostile country or in peace time with Pakistan provided he himself is not in receipt of any financial assistance from any other source.
\nIn order to get supply under this scheme, the applications along with relevant documents should be submitted to the concerned Superintending Engineer\/EDC except Ex-Serviceman and Serving soldier category. The applications of Ex serviceman and Serving soldier category should be submitted at Additional Director, Ex-servicemen Welfare, B-Block, Vikas Bhawan, New Delhi.<\/p>\n
